Freestyle

Danny is the oldest of a bunch of latchkey kids. Even tho his siblings aren’t that much younger than him, most of the responsibility still landed on him, which meant having to make sandwiches for lunch, canned soups for dinner and explain homework he himself wouldn’t even do. It also meant – something that holds true to this day – being the one who gets called when trouble arises or some classmates need a beating. Family sticks together, after all.

Hogwarts offered a bit of an escape from all that, and in a typical teenage fashion, he would enjoy every minute of it: Partying, straying around the castle after curfew, not giving two shits about school work, and so on, and so forth. Sooner or later, this bled into his holidays – something his parents weren’t too fond of. While his siblings tend to get more leeway with their shenanigans, he overall has to take the harshest criticism from his parents. Supposed to be the responsible one and all. Caused a few slamming doors in the household.

Danny got into quidditch after his dad had encouraged him to give it a try and was once a passionate, talented player. Nowadays, he slacks behind, however, and has lost the ambition he once had so many of: He shows up late to practise, sometimes doesn’t show up at all, and – generally speaking – walks aimlessly through life right now. He knows he will have to get into the real world soon enough, and he has no idea what to do once there, which puts quite the damper on his self-esteem – though he’d never admit that.

He got that rebel bad boy aura, and he really doesn’t wanna lose that, so he can be quite the sarcastic provocative prick, but is deep down a softie – at least for his cat and sisters; bully his sisters, he’ll bully you lol.
