Your tour guide (Cheryl)

It was that easy. He knew that the Vexmoor family owned this ship, and dependably ditzy Cheryl would want to pull him around for a while out of sight of his brother. So, he followed her out of the main room, his bulky shoulders catching one of the Christmas trees and shaking some of the decorations from it upon exit.

“Has it got a pool?” he asked her, looking at her little rear wiggling around in front of him.

Yay! She got to show one of her school friends around the ship! Were they friends? Ever since the shopping trip, Cheryl assumed they were friendly. Thorfinn was a hunk too! So muscular, so strong. It wasn't hard for her to go heart-eyed watching school quidditch matches, even if her house went against Slytherin.

"A pool? There's at least two!" she exclaimed as her arms flayed in all sorts of directions as she pointed out some small details about the event hall that he might've not noticed. Guys weren't exactly known for focusing on the little things! "There's also a jacuzzi! It has built-in ashtrays!" Not like she'd ever smoke, but she considered it a selling point. "There's even a boutique!" And a general gift shop. "I always shop in the boutique!"

“Groovy.”

He lit a cigarillo. Although the place was pretty swish, he was never the type to appreciate the grandeur of decoration. That was the sort of thing Ephrem did.

“A’ight... you show me that. The spa place. We’d have it all to ourselves, that’s gotta be more fun than bein’ with the Ministry drones and lookin’ at Barty Crouch’s stupid mug.”

"It's a very nice spa! I don't know if any of the employees are there..."

A lot of them were either given time off to be guests or allocated elsewhere on the ship for the meantime. Cheryl began heading towards the spa which was a couple of levels away from the event hall. Once in the spa, Cheryl, yet again, twirled around and squealed excitedly. At least one person was still keeping the spa in operation! Yay!

"Oooh, Thorfinn, we can have soak our feet! Callouses are gross!"

It was astounding she knew how to pronounce callouses and what they are.

He looked around at the place. Ephrem would probably have something more to say about it, but Thorfinn just saw what he wanted to see: a pool.

"Yeah, Cheryl. Let's soak our feet."

At least he was agreeing! But, at the next beat, he was running full speed towards that water and jumping right inside of there, fully clothed. There was an almighty splash that flew out in all directions, and as Thorfinn surfaced, he laughed, swimming up to the side.

"Your turn, babe." He looked at her expectantly, wondering if she had it within her to do it.

Cheryl was getting ready to prepare for the possibility of changing into her personally-made monogrammed robe for a nice foot soak. There was no way she was going to scrunch up her beautiful gown! What if the tiniest bit fell into the soak solution?! It might ruin it! She spent a good amount of galleons on that gorgeous dress!

Of course, it ended up getting wet anyway thanks to Thorfinn. "Thorfinn! You got my dress wet!" At least it was just pool water. A simple drying spell should do most of the trick...

"Not in this dress!"

She didn't want to ruin her hair either!

Putting his arms out of the water and on the side of the pool, he laughed at her. Of course she'd fuss over her bloody dress.

"Then take it off first."

He raised his eyes to meet hers, grinning.

Take it off?!

"I have to be given my specially-made robe first, Thorfinn!"

She was a total blonde. "Aren't you going to soak your feet?" Cheryl glanced at his hands. "Maybe your palms need one too!" Yucky callouses!

"Nah. You don't need that to swim. Just... get down into your undies."

He laughed and tipped his head back inside of the water, enjoying the warmth of it on his scalp. Moving his head back again, he looked at his hands when she mentioned them.

"Man, Cheryl, I don't wanna do any of that poncey spa shit. That's for girls and homos." He splashed her feet lightly with his hand. "There. Ya feet got soaked. Now get in, or I'll chase ya in."

Her undies?!? They weren't made for pool water! Cheryl was afraid that it'd dissolve on her. It was a silly fear to have as the material was more resilient than she realized, but the idea of such a situation was embarrassing by itself.

She didn't want to be chased in...

Cheryl ran to the dressing room and found one of the complementary bathing suits. It wasn't one of the bikinis she'd wear, but it was preferable to ruining the material of her dress and undergarments.

"Thorfinn! I hope you showered before getting in there!"

Her toes were wrapped around the edge of the pool. Her eyes darted at the steps nearby.

When she left to change, he climbed out of the pool. Removing everything except for his underwear, he went inside of his trouser pockets for a cigarillo. The packet was drenched, the cigarillos inside had turned to mush.

As it turned out, he wasn't the brightest either.

"Yeah I had plenty of time to shower in the four seconds before I jumped in, Sherry," he called back at her. Cheryl sounded so much like a wife. It was somewhere between unbearable and actually turning him on a little, which was a level most men like Thorfinn sat between.

Hiding behind some massive house plant, he awaited her return. And when she was right on the edge: he had to do it. He crept up, and pushed her in.

"Did you shower before coming on my fami-"

She was cut-off when she found herself being plunged into the shallow-ish depths of the spa pool. A loud screech erupted right out of her. It'd be surprising if it didn't at least vibrate through the entire ship.

"My hair! My hair!"

Her hair was done impeccably in honor of the gala only for all that work to be ruined by a simple push into the pool. Why her?!

Thorfinn laughed. Her screeching had him laughing harder. He lowered himself into the pool, and swam over to her.

“I dunno. It ain’t that bad.”

He pulled a piece of her hair that was slapped across her forehead and put it behind her ear.

“The make up situation is worse.” He said it in a would-be encouraging sort of way, but it was obvious that he was teasing her.

Not that bad?!? Didn't he realize how important it was for her to stay in-tact? She had a swimming cap that she forgot to summon before being forced into the pool.

Cheryl frowned before moving to slap him. She found him to be a dreamy hunk and a knight for helping her go on a shopping spree, but she would never accept having her look ruined!

"You made me look like a mess on my own ship!" Her wails intensified as her legs kicked all around in the water.

He was surprised to get a slap across the face, but he supposed this was one of Cheryl's limits: having her hair ruined.

"I just wanted to have some fun, Cheryl. Fuck. This whole thing's a drag."

She was kicking around in the water like some brat having an tantrum. Thorfinn sighed.

"One of your people would fix ya hair, it ain't a big deal. I think ya look pretty hot like that anyway."

Have fun?!? Why did it have to involve ruining her hair and makeup???? He was so handsome, yet he acted like that.

"You mean... I look fine like this..?"

Her mood made a complete 180. "Maybe I can start a new trend! Yay!!!" What was she going to call such a look? "Does my skin look fresh and dewy?"

He nodded, grinning, backing up against the side of the pool and moving his arms back out of the water as he looked at her.

"Like a mermaid," he assured her, laughing.

Like a mermaid?!? For the longest time, she thought mermaids were gorgeous and stunning until she saw an illustration of them in one of her textbooks. Why was Thorfinn playing with her heart like this?

"Are you saying I look like a hag?? That's so mean!"

There wasn't too many places she could go without being underdressed, presentable, or potentially slipping, so she stayed in the pool. She showed her displeasure through splashing some water in his direction.

Urgh. Thorfinn squinted as water was splashed in his direction.

"Ya thinkin' of merpeople, I'm talkin' about mermaids - those fictional, sexy women with shiny tails?"

She was supposed to be an easy girl...

"Ohhh, I thought they were the same thing!"

Mermaid? Merperson? She never paid attention to terminology in classes. How would they be useful in her life as a stylish, gorgeous cruise ship heiress?

"I know! But I can't return to the rest of the ship looking like this when we're done the tour!"

There was still so much to show him like the boutique!
