The blackest of the Black flowers. Narcissa was dainty, doll-like. Andromeda hailed slightly more towards girl-next-door. From a young age, Bellatrix took great pride in her looks. It didn't bother her if it made her look vain; what Black woman didn't appreciate their genetic blessings?

Out of all of her sisters, she was the cruelest having inherited her fiery temper from her namesake aunt. She took great pleasure in making those she considered subordinate wither with pain and frustration. Naturally, Bellatrix didn't have the best reputation at Hogwarts outside of Slytherin. That combined with her purist ideals led to her joining the Death Eaters as soon as possible after leaving Hogwarts.

Her betrothal to Rodolphus Lestrange was simply a duty to be done, and a part of her holds a flame to her master. A flame that grows bigger and bigger as any crumb of sensibility fades away. What lengths will she go to for validation and approval from Lord Voldemort?
