Freestyle

While others would be frustrated at being the youngest son of a Pureblood dynasty, Thorfinn views it as a blessing. He isn’t the heir of the family, so nothing is expected of him: that all falls on his eldest brother, Ephrem. No one could be more fitting for the role, in his opinion. He has all the airs and the graces and the performance of a male heir, while he has as much grace as a gorilla on stilts. If there was one redeeming quality about Thorfinn, it’s that he accepts what he has been given: a brutish face; a broad, tall frame. Ephrem can be the suck up, he can be the intimidator.

For brothers that are so chalk-and-cheese, Thorfinn actually gets along with Ephrem. Everyone else ‘gets along with’ him out of fear, mostly.

As a first-year student he was already sticking out like a sore thumb. Towering above his classmates and enjoying every second of it; Thorfinn continued to use his build to his advantage through the years, right to where we are now: seventeen and looking like a twenty-five year old. He is the loud-mouth of the Slytherins: the one who is constantly being lectured by Professors on his poor choice of words and poor choice of problem solving. Just show them the fist, and it usually settles it.
