Although the Vexmoors lack the old money of pureblood families, they have made a name for themselves in the holiday business. They took notes from the muggle world and founded a wizarding cruise-line known as Merlin's Pride so wizarding folk are able to take a vacation without worrying about violating the Statute of Secrecy.

Cheryl is one of the heiresses, which she uses as an excuse to slack off until the last minute, and likely not in the running to run the company. The fact that her family happens to be new money had gotten to her head and it shows. Although she is generally kind and accepting, she is prone to her more shallow moments to where she looks down on others less fortunate. She doesn't mean to be an asshole, however. She possesses a lack of filter which comes to her detriment.

Now in her final year at Hogwarts, she hasn't figured out how she's going to spend adulthood.
