Fairuza's family was nothing particularly special. Some relatives worked at the Daily Prophet. Others had their face highlighted among the walls of Hogwarts. Nothing special, really. If you had a notorious enough of a fart, you could easily be honored with a chocolate frog card. Again, nothing special.

In Hogwarts, she was one of the rarer half-bloods that populated the house of Slytherin. Her approach to academics never went very well with her professors; she aimed for the stars. Now she literally got to hang with the stars. How professional it was depended on the celebrity. Fairuza plans to show that she is capable of having just as big of a profile as Glucose Pill or the quidditch stars that caught Europe in a frenzy.
