Born magical to an unsuspecting couple, Irvine always set his heights high. He grew a love for rock and roll music from a young age, and it would be the career he aspired for. Irvine wanted to be as cool as acts such as Billy Fury and the Drifters. He was a shyer child and would often spend his days perusing records and listening to them, even if he hardly had the coins to purchase them with. His parents were supportive of his desire to play the guitar and found him some songbooks so he could teach himself. It came as a surprise to everyone when a representative from Hogwarts came by with a letter telling Irvine that he had been accepted to attend, especially as his incidents of accidental magic over the years had been brushed off. After all, his parents were more open to the new-aged hippie phenomenon than most growing up. They had merely assumed he was more attuned to the divine collective. Nope. He was just a plain wizard.

He was sorted in Ravenclaw and quickly felt at home although he had to deal with his fair share of muggleborn bashing. However, it wasn't as severe as others as he mainly kept to those he trusted and did all he could to seem less of a target. By chance, he and a few friends he made in his house formed a band that would quickly skyrocket to the wizarding A-list. Their brief fame would be forever immortalized when they unexpectedly disbanded during their prime right before the release of their third album. Now a free agent, Irvine wants to delve into being a session musician and producer.
