Tobyn is the product of an affair, his mother is from a purist family and after her wedding night she had managed to find Toby's father and it caused the two to begin a really short affair. After it came back that Toby was not in fact this purist child and was in fact from the affair with his dad, his mother was forced to give him away, whether be to his father, to a stranger or by death. Toby has never been so grateful to his father when he found out the truth. Toby always wanted to know who his mother was but when he heard the truth Toby knew he only needed his father and no one else.

When Toby was around the age of eight his maternal Aunt from his mother's side decided to betray her family to help Godfrey raise Toby and give him some sort of a mother figure. She had tried to talk her sister into coming into his life but of course to her marriage and new family she wanted nothing to do with Toby and decided to create heirs for her husband and not bastards.

When Toby was eleven he had received his letter to Hogwarts, he had been sorted into Gryffindor and finished school second to the top of his class, he was a smart kid and always worked hard so that he could have a good life and future. With his grades and also passing the exam to become an Auror he passed with flying colors and continues to be an Auror and to make his father proud.

One night when Toby had been coming home from his job he had heard a noise but he kept his guard up and his wand ready but nothing prepared him for what was to come. Toby had been attacked by a werewolf and was left to suffer for himself, somehow and someway he made his way to his father's shop where his father and gotten up help but the cost was already done, Toby became a wolf that he keeps a secret from everyone except his father.
