Freestyle

Born to Eileen Prince, a pureblooded witch, and Tobias Snape, a muggle, Severus didn't grow up with too much love beyond whenever his mother was able to be tender. Being of a lower class than others in the neighborhood, he stood out and was often a loner until he discovered that Lily Evans was too magical. They quickly became friends as a result of circumstance even if he and her sister didn't have the warmest of feelings toward each other.

Unfortunately, his years at Hogwarts wouldn't be as bright as it seemed when Lily entered as a stable figure in his life. He quickly became the primary target of the Marauders, specifically James, as a result of his upbringing and closeness to Lily. They also began drifting apart as a result of being in rival houses. As he befriended Lucius Malfoy, he began falling with the wrong crowd due to his need to belong and be accepted somewhere.

Time will tell as to if he'll ever find solace within his last years at Hogwarts.
