Born as the middle child, Amelia lived a rather harmonious life. She got along swimmingly with her loved ones and always had the urge to stand up for what's right. Her father worked for the Ministry, so it was only natural that she'd be the child to follow in his footsteps. A Gryffindor, she was well-liked during her time at Hogwarts. She was a member of the dueling club and excelled in defense against the dark arts. As soon as she graduated from Hogwarts, Amelia made moves to work in the Ministry; she started out in a clerical position before working her way up as an impotent figure in the Improper Use of Magic division of the Department of Law Enforcement. With talks of Crouch Sr. taking over as Minister, all eyes were on her for consideration of Department Head. Once confirmation reached everyone regarding Minchum's resignation, the position of department head quickly fell into Amelia's lap. There are big shoes to fill as Crouch Sr's successor.
